You want the premises of the facility you choose to be secure and to ensure that it is, you should ask the company what measures they take to ensure safety of the units.
Look around when you visit the unit to see if there are cameras, a gated entrance, etc.
- Study the Contract
Before you sign the leasing contract, study it and read all of the fine print. You do not want any surprises you did not plan for so be vigilant and always look over your contract.
- Hours of Operation
You want to know that the facility is open during convenient hours for you. For instance, if you work during the day and the facility is only open until 6:00 pm, then you are not likely to have enough time to get there and do what you need without taking time off work.
